After you have flown business class once you definitely will not go back to flying in economy class anytime soon. From check in to landing the whole experience is great and your every need is catered for. No longer is flying long haul a hassle because you are in luxury the whole way, sleeping horizontally on a flight makes such a big difference to you and your body clock it is untrue!
When I flew home from the United States two months ago I decided that I would use my air miles to treat myself and upgrade to business class, I can’t believe that I didn’t do it sooner. I used to be one of those people that thought, it’s not worth it, it’s a waste of money and there’s not much difference. The people who say that are the people who haven’t experienced it yet – I was one of those people. I experienced it and now I am one hundred percent converted! When I was sat in business class from Los Angeles to London I genuinely felt like all my birthdays had come at once, for the first time on a flight I had too much leg room that I didn’t know what to do with it. Then there is the food you are served, you can forget all about the dodgy food you are used to and get used to it being brought out on a tray – I even got a flower in a glass with mine, which is useless yes but it’s a nice touch. When you are feeling sleepy it’s time to hit the magical buttons and go into full recline mode, you will end up lying horizontally completely stretched out and ready for a great night’s sleep.
People think that business may cost a lot more, it doesn’t always, but there is a lot to be said about how you feel and your general mood. Can you put a price on feelings? For example, you are about to fly from New York to London to try and close a deal or for an important work interview that could change your life. Is it really too much to pay a little extra to wake up feeling refreshed, in a good mood and raring to go? I think we all know the answer to that one. I know that the next time I fly I will be booking business class, I advise you to do the same. Take the hassle out of flying and do it in luxury!
