A tasty miracle in the heart of Prague.
Easy to miss hard to forget! There are two ways to get here. One entrance is just a few meters from Jungmans square through the entrance to the Julius Meinl market (Street 28. Rijna.) The other entrance is one block over at Rytirska 10 (the birth place of Alois Senefelder- inventor of the lithograph).
Once reserved for the wealthy, great food in the center of Prague is now available even to students. The “Cafe Cafe” is a great place for breakfast, lunch or early dinner. The menu offers prices ranging from 49Kc for yummy soups to 169Kc for the Chicken Skewer with Teriyaki Sauce and baked potatoes.
The traditional choices found on the salad menu such as Caesar Salad with Chicken and bacon or anchovies can be had for only 169Kc (120Kc for the small), to the Salad with Red beetroot, rucola, parma ham, yoghurt dressing with horse-radish, and lets not forget the great and succulent Hungarian sausages! The fast and friendly service is given along with ample steaming portions.
The decor is unusual; bright posters accentuate the space and brighten the environment. Sitting down is a soothing balm for the nerves and the spirits of the patrons. But you had better hurry because I do not think that their 21 tables will be free for long! The also have wi-fi and a breakfast menu!
