Attractions and sites
Edinburgh Castle: By far one of the most visited attractions in Scotland is that of Edinburgh Castle. This historical Fortress dominates the skyline of this vibrant city, built in the 12th century this is must see for any history fanatic or for people who just enjoy awe inspiring sights.
Loch Ness: This large and very deep Loch (lake) stretches almost 23 miles long and is located in the Breath taking Scottish Highlands. Probably the most famous thing is the legend of the Loch Ness Monster which is supposed to dwell in these deep and murky waters.
Falkirk Wheel: Opened in 2002 this rotating boat lift is a marvel of modern engineering which connects the Forth and Clyde Canal with the Union Canal.
Ben Nevis: Ben Nevis stands 1,344 meters above sea level making it the highest mountain in the British Isles. Located in the Grampian Mountain range in the Lochaber area of the Scottish Highlands is a must for the mountaineering and outdoor enthusiast.
