I love magazines. I love the way they look, the way they feel in your hand, how you can read them anytime, anywhere. The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Harper’s, Details, Esquire – I was reared on a veritable all-you-can-eat buffet of periodicals. My mother would shout at me, “Do your homework, Michael!” and I would read magazines instead. There is simply no substitute for the type of diversion that magazines provide.
