Anagram is one of the few bookstores in the city dedicated entirely to the English language. This is a great way to gloss over your wayward, drunken existence here to the folks back home. Of course, they also have a huge collection of best-sellers, classics, new arrivals, and other, non-Czech-related options, including Anton Corbijn's Famouz, a stunning collection of photos of musicians from 1975-88 (2000Kc). Also, all prints on the walls are for sale, ranging from 150Kc to 400Kc. Tyn 4, Prague , Tel: +420 224 895 737, Fax: +420 224 895 738, email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. They have an extremely large selection of picture books about Prague (averaging 340Kc), some of which truly manage to get past the postcard, Charles Bridge aesthetic, as well as a very complete collection of translations of Czech novels by the likes of Kundera, Klima, and Hrabal, and also several books about Czech culture.
