The sweet life it is, with good gelato, sweets and coffees and all of it worth every penny.
A favorite of local and visiting Italians, if you can make your way past all those silly hats in this side-street cafe, and past the slightly sterile ground level to the cozy loft-like upper level, you can park yourself at one of the tiny marble-topped tables and enjoy a sweet view of the churchyard and cobbled stone crossing below, and simply watch life go on by. They also have an enjoyable outdoor seating area for when the weather gets warm.
