Every english speaker should know a few handy phrases in Czech. Here are some ones we think you should find quite handy.ENGLISH/ČZECH • What is your name? Jak se jmenuješ? (Yak say yemenuesh?) • You are very pretty. To a female: Jsi moc pěkná. (Ye-see moce pyekna.) To a male: Jsi moc pěkný. (ee-see moce pyeknee.) • Are you married? To a female: Jsi vdaná? (Ye-see veedanya?) To a male: Jsi ženatý? (ye-see janatee?) • Can I buy you a drink? Můžu ti koupit něco k pití? (moo-zu tee koupeet kneco ka peetee?) • Come, sit by me. Pojď si sednout vedle mě. (poyd see sednout veeyedlea may.) • You have very beautiful: eyes/lips/legs/breasts. Más moc pěkné: oči/rty/nohy/prsa. (Maash moce pyeknay: ochee/retee/knowhee/persa.) • I like your friend too. To a female: Líbí se mi tvoje kamarádka. (Leebee say me tavoye comaradka.) To a male: Líbí se mi tvůj kamarád. (Leebee say me tavuuye comarad.) • Do you wanna spend the night at my panelak? Chceš přespat u mě v paneláku? (Ksesh prreshpat u may va panelakuu?) • You have great lips. Máš skvělé rty. (Maash shkvely retee.) • Keep doing it. Dělej to dál. (Dyelay toe daal) • Slow down.
