"The cinema to uplift you", is not only a cinema.

Aero KinoYou can also be uplifted by theatre performances pantomimes, video projections and concerts. The best of the best get screened here, films of all nationalities, profiles of famous directors. Central to their activities is the project "Animation film day" by which Aero is trying to re-establish short animated films.

There used to be a sound tradition whereby short films were screened in cinemas before the main features. That was unfortunately done away with and the short films replaced mostly by soulless advertising. Take a look, for instance, at the film Ostry Hugo by Aurel Klimt and compare it with the cowboys in the Marlboro advert.

You'll see who comes off best.
